"With the generous help of The Scratching Posts we rescued this young beauty and her 7 kittens... All found their home... She is now warming her fluffy bottom, lying upon my winter fluffy jumpers beside me... Thank you Susan and all great team of The Scratching Posts. 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚 @YvonneShamsan"

"I had to give my cat to this shelter, they took away all her comfort stuff, made me take it back, and instantly took her away, no goodbye or anything. She is a very anxious and scared cat. Then I asked for some information in the future & they said they don't have time and were js going on abt how it's bad when people don't neuter their cats (my cat wasn't neutered due to valid reason, but was kept responsibly and never near a male cat.) and that they have so many cats and then js left me with no reassurance my cat is safe, no "hope you're okay" when I was crying, no info about what will happen with my cat now, nothing. No sympathy from these people. I also gave 2 bags of stuff and there was not a single "thank you". Ignored me multiple times as well."

"Lovely cat shelter and was very efficient from the first call to adopting our cat, all within 2 weeks! Could've been even sooner if we wanted. The staff are also lovely people who clearly care for cats deeply."

"My partner and I applied to adopt and after having a home assessment we never heard back from the charity.Tracey who did the assessment was quite rude and made a lot of assumptions. Such as saying things like “you’re young, one day you’ll have children and the cats will no longer be a priority”. I don’t think it’s appropriate to make that assumption about strangers, particular around a sensitive topic like childbirth where people may not be able to have children for medical reasons. I found the call very patronising in general and felt I was treated as a child who knows nothing,My partner and I were 26, 30 at the time and in very stable and reputable professions with previous cat care experience. We are more than capable of providing a home for cats/kittens.As we never heard back from this charity we applied to foster with another charity and have since fostered three cats including one with complex medical issues. If this charity wants their cats and kittens to be adopted they should not be so rude and make assumptions about potential adoptees as they are causing their cats/kittens to miss out on loving homes. I understand the need to exercise caution, ofcourse the welfare of the cats and kittens is paramount but it seems the charity is being too picky and rejecting very suitable applicants. Based from other reviews it seems I am not the only one with this issue."
