About This Centre
Welcome to Dogs Trust Nwebury! We're a happy, friendly team and would love you to come and visit our rehoming centre to see our fantastic facilities and all the waggy tails of dogs looking for new homes. We’re open for general browsing on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 12–4pm. Wednesday and Friday mornings are by pre-arranged appointment only.Dogs Trust Newbury is based in a quiet area of the countryside, with beautiful views. The rehoming centre has undergone an extensive rebuild. We're now home to new, larger kennels with cosy underfloor heating, new kitchens and laundry rooms for each kennel block and a selection of outside compound spaces for the dogs to have off lead time and training.

Real Experiences
"Lovely experience. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Answered all our questions. Provided us time to get to know Max... And Max himself is settling in well with us."
10 months ago"An amazing and emotional experience from start to finish. I found Ronnie a English Springer Spaniel and he found me. I’m so blessed. The staff are a credit to the DT and the facilities feel like you are walking into a comfortable and welcoming environment. Thank you team and the DT for all you did for Ronnie, for me, and all the lovely animals that come to your care x"

11 months ago"We decided to adopt our beautiful Luna from Dogs Trust, Newbury after visiting a few weeks ago. We were so impressed with the whole experience from beginning to end, all the staff were fantastic, very knowledgeable and they found the right dog for us. We highly recommend adopting from the Newbury branch."
a year ago"Visited DT Newbury to view a specific dog today having been interested in the dog's online profile, shown into the kennel area to see her behind the glass. All good so far. Went back to the office to ask if we might meet the dog...oh no.... You cannot actually request a particular dog! You must first register online application and then THEY decide upon the animal that might match you! How stupid can you get? Also then told the dog we'd come to view had been 'provisionally reserved' by them for people who hadn't even seen the dog!? What utter nonsense - but hey, this is dog charity land where their super dog experts apparently know more about you than you do!"
