About This Centre

A Charitable Trust, representing in excess of 80 UK sighthound rescues and introduce would be adopters to hounds we feel may be suitable. It is a free community service aiming to reduce the plight of the thousands of sighthounds looking for homes who are retired from the racing industry, hunting fraternity or just abandoned as no longer wanted. Provide around 300kg of food posted free to our partner rescues and visit them when possible. Help the scared and nervous hounds by regular interaction and have enabled several homings through this work. Operate a small foster function in NE England and another in the South. In May 2024 we constructed our first Kennel

"This rehoming group did an amazing job in finding a pound hound that I had rescued the most wonderful home. The work that they do is 100% focused on the hound and doing what is best for them. The support and advice from knowledgeable Malcom was excellent 👌👍 I would recommend this group for any advice or if looking for your perfect hound."

"Dedicated to rehoming all greyhounds in need of a loving home. Knowledgeable, trustworthy and experienced in all things greyhounds. Malcolm has kept in contact with the rehoming of my ex racer Doughie Doo of whom he cared and knew first hand before home checking me, and remains on hand as a trusted friend to me and Doughie Doo."

"Malcolm spent a good hour talking to me about greyhounds , a real wealth of sight hound knowledge and experience! Note : it was a painless home check and did NOT feel like a police interrogation 👍🏽! He managed to source a few small dog and children friendly greyhounds.. Which isn’t as easy to find as you might think… We went on Saturday and viewed 4 dogs taking a Chihuahua, a bulldog, and a 6 year old granddaughter with us . All dogs were fine with them .. We chose Leah,( re named Sophie) a lovely, very shy, fawn greyhound … She’s still getting used to home life and is a big hit with the children and grandchildren! ! Thanks once again Malcolm.. 👍🏽⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
