About This Centre
Edinburgh Cat Protection League at Leith, your local charity for cats. If you find you are unable to keep your cat, we may be able to help you to rehome him or her. Shortly after admission, your cat will be examined by our vets. In addition, we also carry out several investigative tests to elicit any underlying health problems which require treatment so that any cat leaving us is homed in the best possible condition that we can achieve. When ready for homing, great care will be taken to ensure that he/she will be placed in the most suitable home for her/his needs. We will never place a cat in a home which does not meet with the needs of your cat.

Real Experiences
"I've gotten 2 cats from this place. I'm leaving a late review as I forgot but it's sort of an update. I got my cat, Ginny from them when she was only a kitten she's grown and is a fantastic cat. When I went there with my dad we were greeted with kindness and there were so many cats I would've loved to have them all! Very nice place and I recommend if you really want a cat"

Initially she was very shy, but quickly went from timid to a bold and playful cat. The adoption process was really straightforward, as was booking an appointment, and the cats there are clearly so well cared for. Big thank you to Edinburgh Cat Protection League for all they do for so many lovely cats, and so glad we were able to adopt with them"
