Real Experiences
"Very welcoming staff who love their “guests” & only want the best outcome for them. We celebrated our 3 month adoption anniversary on 12th November when we took our rescue Rottweiler (Roxy) on holiday to Norfolk. Sadly there is too much choice of animals at Last Chance but they are well looked after. We chose a 5 year old Rottie as she had been in kennels for a while & bigger dogs are more difficult to rehome. We recently lost our 13 year old Staffie & only went for a browse but Roxy stole our hearts & what a fantastic dog she is. Thank you Last Chance for putting us together."

The kennels and cattery were so well maintained - so clean and the animals clearly well cared for and as happy as can be. You can tell the staff really care about the wellbeing of the animals, they understand and accept all their quirks and look for the perfect match. Very impressed! Tina was so supportive, and kind, and kept in touch with us throughout the whole process."

From the very first phone call, the staff were incredibly helpful and understanding, which brought us a lot of comfort during such a difficult time. When we visited the centre, we were greeted by Tina, who was so welcoming. Despite how busy the centre was, she took her time to show us around and talk everything through with us. It really meant a lot.Rehoming the dogs was something we never imagined we would have to do, and it was an emotional experience for all of us. When we brought the dogs in the following day, we were again met by Tina and another member of staff. They never once rushed us, instead they helped us settle the dogs gently and patiently. Tina even spent time with us in the kennel, giving the dogs cuddles and reassurance, they took to her instantly. Since then, I’ve received updates on how the dogs are doing, which has been incredibly comforting.I cannot thank the centre and its staff enough. They have assured us that the dogs will be matched with a family who can meet their needs, and I truly believe they will. The kennels were spotless, well-stocked with clean bedding, toys, and fresh water, and the outside areas were clean and well maintained. It was also lovely to see so many volunteers walking and playing with the dogs.Well done to everyone at Last Chance for your amazing work and dedication. We are so grateful."

2 months ago"I have been to Last chance for over 20 years and have been very lucky to have had 5 amazing dogs over this time. Please do not over look the older dogs, truely wonderful to have around we had an amazing 13 yr old that lived with us until he passed at 19yrs. Please understand that dogs are a full life commitment not a toy to be disgarded."
