About This Centre
Welcome to Dogs Trust Canterbury! We're a happy, friendly team and would love you to come and visit our rehoming centre to see our fantastic facilities and all the waggy tails of dogs looking for new homes. We’re open for general browsing on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 12–4pm. Wednesday and Friday mornings are by pre-arranged appointment only.Dogs Trust has been in Kent since 1999 when we took over the site in the small village of Chestfield outside Canterbury. We refurbished the site in 2000 and opened to the public with 24 kennels allowing the centre to care for up to 40 dogs at any one time. In 2009, we expanded the centre and now have 38 kennels and can care for up to 70 dogs and puppies on site.
