About This Centre
We are a palliative care & special needs cat sanctuary caring for cats of all ages. We are NOT A REHOMING SERVICE & you CANNOT adopt or purchase cats from us but you can apply to become a FOREVER foster parent (home & identity check applies) as most cats that come to us are poorly and remain with us for the remainder of their natural LIVES. "Through work I came across a little cat that had been abandoned by its owners when they moved. She had been living in next doors garden relying on scraps from neighbours. I contacted The Cottage Kitties for advice. They were so very helpful and although they informed me they only provide palliative care, offered to supply me with a cat carrier, food and litter tray. They also offered to scan the cat to see if she was microchipped. I took her there and Doctor Paulette Griffiths weighed, wormed and scanned the kitty. I wasn't in a position to take her in or foster due to work commitments and although generally healthy, she had a temperature, so Dr Paulette said she needed to stay there to be checked over completely. What amazing people!! Dr Paulette and Paul are clearly dedicated to caring for cats and what was even more impressive is that they are determined to track the people responsible for abandoning her through her chip. I can't thank the Cottage Kitties enough for the help and support they gave me and the cat."

"Cottage Kitties is run by an amazing lady who's so helpful, I recused a kitten and already having a cat I couldn't keep it, I took it to Cottage kitties with no hesitation at all we was welcome into her beautiful home to dicuss the future of Poppy they welcome Poppy into their forever home straight away. When I left I felt that Poppy was going to be taken care of and she looked so happy. I can't thank them enough for taking Poppy in and making her feel at home straight away. I'd definitely recommend Cottage Kitties to everyone, if you would like to opdopt a kitten or a Cat this is definitely the place to go, all the Cats are well looked after and happy waiting for a new home, Please pay a visit if you want a new friendly pet 😻😻😻😻😻😻"
