"We adopted a very nervous little cat that wasn't doing well in the shelter. The staff were so focused on the animals and what really is best for them. After 2 weeks I received a call from one of the staff to check in and to ensure the boy was OK, eating , litter use etc. I believe we are going to get another call in another 2 weeks. The support is amazing for owners and the animals. Our boy is settled now and all his worries are just a distant memory."

"We adopted Athena in May 2024 and it was such a lovely experience. They took the time to understand us and we had plans to meet her several times before we took her home. As it happens we bonded quickly a d took her home on the 3rd visit and she has been a wonderful addition to our family. We cannot imagine life without her. Thank you to the inspector and the shelter for rescuing her and looking after her until she came to join us."

"Wonderful shelter and amazing staff. Could not have been more professional and caring when I adopted my cat Gregory. All explained fully and checks done easily. Lots of lovely animals waiting for their forever home. Would definitely recommend for all types off animals."

"I adopted a cat a couple of months ago and the process was so seamless. The staff clearly have the best interests of the animals at heart and really want to see them go to good homes. My cat had some medical issues which were dealt with whilst he was at the shelter and I got great support for his ongoing care once he was home with me. The adoption fee covers the neutering, microchipping, and vaccinations so is excellent value for anyone looking for a new pet. My cat is happy and settling in so well and I want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Little Valley for taking such good care of him during his time at the shelter."

"Was a chauffeur for my friend who was adopting a cat from Little Valley. Whole process was very thorough but streamlined. Appointment only to meet the cat. Cannot recommend enough, very friendly and well informed staff who care deeply for the welfare of their animals. My friend's little cat has settled in and adjusted so well. Please consider adoption through Little Valley."
