Our pet supplies shop and reception are open during normal hours. Each year we take in hundreds of lost, abandoned or ill treated animals, none of which would be possible without public support. Real Experiences
"I adopted my dog from RSPCA Danaher Animal Rescue Centre yesterday, and I honestly canāt speak highly enough of the experience.I sent in an application just under two weeks ago, arranged to meet my dog about a week later, and from the very first visit the process felt thoughtful, kind, and completely unrushed. We were given plenty of time to spend with him ā we saw him off lead, took him for a walk, and then spent time together in a room where he could play and relax. It was clear that the focus was on making sure it was the right match for both of us.The staff were incredibly helpful throughout and very happy to answer questions. You can tell they genuinely care deeply about the dogs in their care. My dog was clearly well looked after ā he was happy, relaxed, and excited to see the staff, and he didnāt seem distressed at all during his time there.I went back yesterday to see him again, took him for another walk, and completed the adoption. Bringing him home has been such a joy, and itās obvious heās been given excellent care and kindness while at the centre.RSPCA Danaher is doing an amazing job, and Iām so grateful to the team for everything they do and for helping me find such a lovely dog. I wouldnāt hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering adoption."

The staff even let me hold one of the guinea pigs who were at the time only a month old. So cute! Please see the photos below:"

We received a call after submitting our interest form and the next day we were able to come and meet a few potential dogs. The staff there were so brilliant at matching us up with the right dogs and made sure we had completely honest and thorough information to make sure we made the right call in who we were adopting. They're clearly very passionate and care a lot about these animals and this was so clear in every interaction we had with Danaher. Thank you to everyone there who helped to match us with our lovely dog."

5 months ago"Very approachable staff with the dog's best interest at heart. Worked with us to make our home and garden safe for the adoption and couldn't be more helpful in every way. Prompt response to all enquiries and trouble free adoption process. brilliant shop to get all your animal needs to set you up from day one. Buddy has been amazing since we brought him home, very relaxed and friendly which must be due to the care and love he got at Danaher. Thank you for making our family whole again."
