You are vetted twice by a phone call regarding experience and suitability, then if successful you receive a home visit. We were lucky enough to be vetted and chosen, and we have had Bobbie 6 weeks and she is absolute treasure, we are so lucky. If you don't get a reply, don't give up as they can be busy and the bird you apply for may already be under consideration. If you have experience with taking care of parrots, keep applying"

"Don't waste your time. I've tried to call these multiple times a day, all at different times and across multiple different days and they just don't answer the phone. So I tried to send a message via their website, 4 weeks on and I've heard nothing back. They're clearly just not bothered about running the charity"
