About This Centre
Paws and People is a small home run animal rescue based in Banbridge County Down. They are a registered charity and are a non-profit and no-kill rescue. Taking in unwanted strays and owners surrenders; if there is room, then no dog or animal is refused. VISITS TO THE RESCUE ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY as it is run from a family home. IF YOU CANT GET THROUGH ON THE PHONELINE, THEN EMAIL OR FACEBOOK IS BEST AS WE ARE OFTEN SO BUSY WITH THE ANIMALS, THAT WE CANT ALWAYS ANSWER PHONES.

Real Experiences
"Adopted Twix now Ozzy 26th July 2025 from these wonderful people. He is a complete bundle of joy and makes me laugh every day with his antics. I can't thank Paws & People enough for giving me the opportunity to have him join our family. No hesitation in recommending them to anyone. Clearly love and care for all the animals 24/7 not an easy job."

a year ago"We adopted our dog almost 6 years ago and paws and people were absolutely fantastic. They have always been on hand for advice and encouragement and they really love all the animals that come into their care. A mother and daughter duo, making no money for themselves and putting their rescues first. Keep up the good work!! Emma xx"

I'm really happy with the whole process of the adoption. Sharon and Nadine do a brilliant job giving these poor dogs and cats another chance of a lovely life."
