"We adopted our beautiful little Cavachon, formerly M.T. Trick and now our darling Dolly, through Many Tears Animal Sanctuary and the whole experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. We worked with an incredible fosterer who truly went above and beyond. She carried out all of the proper checks, kept us fully informed, and made the entire process smooth, supportive, and reassuring. It was clear how much she cared about Dolly’s wellbeing and finding her the right home.Dolly is very much a little project dog — timid, unsure, and clearly having had a tough start in life as a breeding dog. But we fully understood her brief and were matched perfectly. Having our resident dog, Coco, has helped her learn gently how to be a dog, and every small step she takes feels like a huge victory. She’s already brought so much joy into our home.We are incredibly grateful to Billie and to Many Tears Animal Sanctuary for trusting us with this precious little soul. If anyone is considering adopting, especially a dog who needs patience and understanding, we cannot recommend them highly enough. They change lives — including ours."

"Our Rosie the rescue Cavapoo! It’s been 6 yrs since my husband and I adopted Rosie from Many Tears. Rosie has been an absolute joy from day one and I will be forever grateful to Sylvia for allowing us to adopt her. I really couldn’t praise this rescue enough for the amazing work that they do. I would highly recommend to anyone who’s looking to adopt a dog to please consider going to Many Tears. I volunteer there on a regular basis and see the hard work and dedication that the staff put into the dog’s. The rescue is not your plush Battersea or Dogs Trust set up but their mission is the same. To give dogs a second chance that they otherwise wouldn’t have had."

"Incredible rescue. Wonderful staff. We visited yesterday to meet and greet a gorgeous rough collie called Tenley, who had been returned from the previous home she was adopted into due to housetraining issues. We arrived early, parked in the customer parking and took our resident dog out for a walk near the centre, and when we were seen by staff we were greeted with lots of smiling and waving. We waiting until our allocated time slot to go into reception, although a few minutes early, we were greeted by a wonderful guy who gave our dog lots of fuss and asked us where we’d come from and if we’d been before. Funnily enough, I last went to Many Tears circa 15-16years ago, to pick up a 6week old black Labrador puppy called Just Sooty with my mum and dad. She lived until 12 and was the greatest companion, and Many Tears were fantastic then too!All of the staff we met were so friendly, everything was well organised with getting the dogs to meet each other, and it went so well! We were provided with ample information on Tenleys history by a guy who was fantastic throughout the whole time we were there, and he let us know how she’d been in the rescue. Honestly, she exceeded all expectations and has been an absolute delight. The work that the staff do here is incredible. The dogs are so loved, well cared for and you can tell how much everyone loves doing what they do.Many Tears is an independent rescue, with hardworking staff and volunteers and I hope people who leave poor reviews about ā€œrude emailsā€ realise that these guys have so many dogs coming into their care, which are their priority and rightly so, customer service levels shouldn’t even be questioned, they are busy and doing the best they can and they need to find suitable homes for dogs from all walks of life. They rely on donations, and I believe the prices of the dogs to be more than fair, considering the amount of time spent assessing and looking after the animals, getting them treated by vets and given the vaccinations, feeding and grooming etc.The only disappointment I felt yesterday was hearing about how some members of the public treat this rescue and the dogs, expecting them to pay for veterinary care years down the line, adoption fees have had to be increased so that people don’t buy the dogs to sell on for a profit. The fact that Tenley was returned due to housetraining issues after a couple of months, despite the fact she had never lived in the home, shows the level of stupidity, irresponsibility and carelessness this rescue have to deal with.I found no interaction with this rescue to be rude, the emails were informative and straightforward, everyone I spoke to on the phone prior and in person was kind and friendly. If you have issues with this rescue centre because of the way they communicate, I strongly recommend you give your head a wobble and go there to rescue a dog when you can put your ego aside. They do fantastic work, they do the best they can and they are inundated with dogs regularly and those poor dogs are their priority,Thank you so much to everyone we met yesterday. We have had no issues with Tenley, who had no accidents on the way home, or last night and we genuinely cannot fault her, an absolutely incredible wee girl who we are going to love forever. Thank you for all of the fuss you gave our current dog as this helped him feel so relaxed, I genuinely couldn’t be more grateful to this rescue. You are all incredible!!"

"Adopted little Candle aged 4 seven years ago. Adoption was smooth and fast. I absolutely adored her. She was in poor condition after a life of hell in an Irish puppy farm. She responded so quickly to love and care as shown in photos. She was the sweetest kindest most loving little soul. She passed away in September and broke my heart."

"Couldn't have had a better experience! Many tears were thorough and informative, it was such a lovely beginning to my journey with MT Rose, that I did it again with hrr sister MT Topsy 8 weeks later. The charity is amazing and ensures their very special fur babies are suitably placed in their forever homes."
