"We use Jerry Green’s boarding facility for our anxious and reactive German Shepherd Lola who can be quite intimidating when meeting new people with her barking and lunging and I feel many kennels would choose not to take her. The staff at Jerry Green’s have been amazing taking the time to be individually introduced to Lola in their large secure exercise field (see picture) and building rapport with her and gaining her confidence. Lola is a completely different dog once she knows someone and allows them into her ‘pack’. Each time we went she saw someone she already knew and was then introduced to another member of staff which has worked really well and means there is always someone she trusts who can handle her. The kennels are huge, clean and warm and every dog’s needs are noted and carried out such as medication etc. I would highly recommend Jerry Green’s to anyone looking for top class care for their dog. Special thanks to Olivia, Kim, Charlie and all the other staff who do a terrific job."

"Jerry Green Dog Rescue are incredible.I had the most tragic weekend. My dog was really poorly and it ended with us having to make the heartbreaking decision to have him PTS. On the very same day, my husband had a heart attack. I was also looking after my friend’s dogs at the time. I was in bits — worrying about my dog, terrified about my husband, and feeling responsible for someone else’s pets.In complete desperation, I rang Jerry Green. Within minutes the manager was on the phone. Calm, kind, and reassuring. She immediately offered emergency boarding for the dogs and told me they’d take care of everything. Just hearing that lifted such a weight. I knew the dogs would be safe, loved and properly looked after. I could honestly tell my friend they were in the best possible place, so she could continue her holiday, and I could focus on my husband and say goodbye to my boy.After my dog passed, Jerry Green sent me the loveliest card. They kept me updated on the dogs in kennels and handled everything with such compassion and genuine care.I honestly don’t know how I would have coped without their support that weekend. They were a lifeline when I needed one most."

The care they show for the dogs, the way the "mixers" are arranged and the care staff take to make sure that the dogs are comfortable and happy is outstanding! "Jerry Green recently rehomed our cocker spaniel. They were brilliant throughout and their communication was absolutely fantastic. "Absolutely outstanding service. My family suffered an awful house fire, my mum and dad were in ICU at the hospital and unfortunately my grandma passed away. We had 5 dogs, 2 also passed away in the fire.But the 3 that were left had suffered smoke inhalation and 2 had to be resuscitated by the fire service and taken to jerry greens. But when they got there it was jerry greens who had them sent to the vet immediately.Jerry greens then took them into care and kept in contact with me. For over a month I had absolutely nowhere for them to live, jerry greens was the sanctuary to keep them safe and well looked after during this awful time in our lives.They took them for walks, kept them well fed, watched out for their strange habits and made sure they were healing from the fire.The staff at jerry greens were willing to help me and my family in anyway possible. Jerry greens reunited the dogs to me and my family. It was a very special time.The dogs are now with us happy and safe, healthy and running around just like normal. Thank you jerry greens."
