About This Centre
Hopefield Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit organisation that provides a forever home to nearly 700 sick, unwanted and mistreated animals. We are based in Brentwood, Essex. We care for a vast array of animals, from horses, pigs, sheep and rabbits, to more exotic animals including raccoons, parrots, reptiles and meerkats*! We have a lovely plant-based tearoom on site that serves an extensive menu. As a small charity, we rely on donations and fundraising generated from being open to the public, and it’s with thanks to the continued support that we’ve received, that we’re able to continue the crucial work that we do: Saving Animals Together. * Our "exotic" animals can only be seen 6 days a year, on our Exotic Animal Weekends
