About This Centre
Hessilhead Wildlife Rescue cares for Scotland's injured and orphaned wildlife. We aim to rescue, treat, rehabilitate and release birds and animals back into the wild, and have the facilities and experience to treat all species of Scottish wildlife.

"Hi we took a wee pigeon in today that had been in our garden for a few days problem with it's wing and staff were great.I don.t know why this wildlife sanctuary is not receiving government funding the work it is doing is un real! "We found young birds on a building site, the site was getting removed, so the birds were needing relocated. Hessilhead had the experience to advise us what to do with them and the facilities to care for them. Fantastic orognisation and people."

"Found a fox who had been hit by a car last night, called every recommended number that came up on Google, and no-one was willing to, or open to help. Thankfully, on the list was Hessilhead who straight away said they could help if we could transport the fox to them. A 40 minute drive from East Kilbride, so so worth it. The gentleman was fantastic, and the work they do is incredible. I'm so glad we found this place, and the number is now saved on my phone. Thank you so much again for helping our wee night time visitor."
