We are dedicated to rescuing and rehoming cats and kittens. There can be many reasons why a cat needs to be rehomed. We may not always have the capacity to take a cat into rescue but we will prioritise and when we cannot help straight away, we will always give you advice. We frequently have cats and kittens available for adoption. Registered Charity 1201512

Real Experiences
"We’ve adopted 2 beautiful kittens from HCR. It’s a wonderful organisation who’s taken the adoption process very seriously. They made sure that we get the right kittens for our living situation and provided the complete “package”. Microchips, jabs, insurance, etc. Can’t recommend them enough!"
4 years ago"We contacted HCR after one of our cats sadly passed. It is clear from all aspects of the way HCR operate; and a short time with Celia, they are truly dedicated to their work and boy, what a lot of work they have to deal with. Celia is incredible, devoted and was able to guide us though their checks (important to ensure that each cat gets a loving and capable home) and in little over a week we have this lively, inquisitive and gorgeous girl... Aurelia."
2 years ago"it is clear they work tirelessly to help as many cats as possible, and they're so knowledgeable and helpful - I needed some support with one of the rescue cats and they were brilliant. Their cats and kittens are so well looked after and they work really hard to place the right cat/kitten with the right family. thank you for our beautiful boys 😻🐈⬛🐈⬛"
3 years ago"Harrogate Cat Rescue, are just brilliant, Celia and her team of fosterers are just amazing, we rehomed 2 kittens, it was the best thing we ever did, the process was so easy 10/10 HCR"
a year ago"Celia & her volunteers are fab - they’re so on hand to make sure all their cats are going into the right homes. We picked up our new kitten today and he’s litter trained, well socialised, and very friendly (all down to the great foster home he was in). It was a pleasure dealing with everyone at Harrogate Cat Rescue, and I’m glad I got my new addition through a smaller rescue centre."
