"Fantastic rescue centre, first visited to donate items when our dog sadly died then started walking the dogs at the weekends. Didn’t intend to rehome another for a while but met an older collie and fell in love with her. She has made our house a home again. Would definitely recommend visiting as some dogs don’t make it to the website. They also have a fantastic shop on site with everything you could need for a dog at fantastic prices 😊"

"Absolutely the heart and soul of what animal shelters should be. I'm so happy with my rescued cat. She had the most amazing care to help her recover from injuries partnered with the vets. Souldnt ask for a better wee soul!"

"Well after thee amazing dogs from Iona what can I say. She and her team do a fantastic job to look after the animals in their care. You won’t (quite rightly) be handed over an animal if the team don’t feel you are the right owner, but when you do get one, you can be sure it’s for the long term. Our first dogs Tess and lass our collies, were a challenge, but no wonder knowing their horrendous background. It took me three years before Tess would trust me to sit with my hand on her back. In the end, they were the best collies I ever had. And then into the mix came Bob the posh Pembroke corgi. Never have I seen a more thrawn dog and yet loyal one in my life - I honestly don’t know what I’d do without him. Yes you can spend thousands on a pedigree dog, but go and see Iona first. It’s time well spent and if it’s right for you then she will have the right dog for you."
