"The dog trust is well run with the care for dogs is excellent. It is also worth mentioning it is always looking for fosters to help look after dogs. Highly recommended first class."

"Well run, great helpful staff, spotlessly clean, and all of the dogs are clearly very well cared for. All in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The assessment of the adopter and adoption process is carried out with 100% of the dogs' welfare in mind, with the adopters and dog being matched to each other. A meeting with the staff, then at least one with the dog to make sure you are going to be perfect for each other, some of the dogs may need more of a gradual/prolonged introduction. I found the process relaxed and went very smoothly. The Dogs are all thoroughly checked by their vets, and any medication/treatment that may be needed is given, including flea and worming, spaying, etc. (I believe puppies may come with a neutering voucher to cover the cost when old enough for the procedure). They also offer free, life-long behaviour support for the rest of the dogs life if you feel it is needed and are always there for any questions and support if required. They check in with you after the dogs go to their new forever homes to make sure all is well and to ask if you would like any help or advice, so you are not on your own during the settling in days, nor are you moving forward. They are always available to you and for free. Perfect for the dogs who are, for all sorts of reasons, in desperate need of a loving home and invaluable support for the adopters. All of this, plus a lead, collar, and food for a couple of weeks, four weeks free insurance and, best of all, a wonderful friend for life for a small donation cost of £225 for an adult dog - Simply Fantastic!"
