"Such a lovely, warm and friendly place. We visited the New Romney branch twice. The kennels and cattery were so well maintained - so clean and the animals clearly well cared for and as happy as can be. You can tell the staff really care about the wellbeing of the animals, they understand and accept all their quirks and look for the perfect match. Very impressed!"

"My partner made me aware of Last Chance Animal Rescue. I had an elderly cat at the time, and was only there to introduce myself and start the process of connecting with the charity.I went into the office and there she was, 3 months and 5 days old, her brother had found his home, she looked up at me, I melted into a pool of love. The checks were thoroughly done, we had 4 house checks to ensure the pups was going to a good home, making sure our garden was enclosed and the house good enough. The last thing they want is for the puppa to come back. The after care has been second to none. The on site vet and staff are all legendary, big hearts, good people!Thank you so much Last Chance, my little girl is amazing, so bright, so cheeky, so wonderful... my absolute world!"

"I conduct homechecks for their adopters and have visited the rescue a few times. They have some lovely hounds and high percentage of successful homings"

"I visited Last Chance on Sunday afternoon and can happily say that these pets are given every chance thanks to Last Chance! The staff are warm and welcoming. My husband, daughter and I met Freya, who made us feel very at home with the little dogs we were visiting. The premises has been updated and all the animal shelters are clean, comfortable and stimulating environments for both cats and dogs. It was fun to be greeted by the two hapoy goats as we made our way to the entrance. They enjoy a large, meadowy enclosure with plenty of vegetation to nibble on. It is wonderful to think that these dogs, cats and others are being so well cared for with all the veterinary attention they need too, whilst they wait for their forever homes."

"Last Chance are my Employers charity of the year for 2025. I got the privilege to volunteer here for a day recently. The staff are great and are so appreciative for the help and donations.I am going to make a regular effort to volunteer here as it is such a good cause. It's a shame that places like this have to exist but thank God they do.A new dog came in when we were there that had been rescued from a pound in Wales where they are only given 10 days to live before being killed. The dogs are walked twice a day and have toys, water and food. All they need is a loving home but if needed, this isn't a bad pit stop!"
