"We recently adopted two wonderful little kittens from Borders Pet Rescue, and while they’re going to be a bit of a project, we’re so proud to call them our babies. Our experience with the staff was amazing. We were given plenty of time introduce ourselves to the kittens before moving forward with the adoption process. The staff their gave us advice on how to help unsocialised kittens settle into our home, as well as an explanation of their background and the circumstances they came from. It was an incredibly informative and reassuring meeting! The paperwork was easy, any questions we had were explained to us with clear, helpful answers, I don't think there were any more to ask haha. We received guidance on their microchipping, medical information (flea/vaccinations), and information as well as an estimate on when they'll be eligible for neutering. We were also given information on where to go for great pet insurance as well as papers directing us to free food and goodies. I honestly can't recommend this charity enough!"

This is a wonderful organization, very clean premises, seriously organized, making sure they match humans and pets optimally, always available for advice and they clearly have the interest of the animals at heart, checking on their progress at their new homes and offer help for the ‘new parents’ as well.
