Real Experiences
"Me and my little girl volunteer here,we go at least once a month and more if time allows. We take a gentle dog out and then do socialisation (sausage distribution!) afterwards. All the staff are great and obviously all care so much for every single dog in their care. The other volunteers also help hugely. If you are thinking of adopting, please do so from here. There are so many sweet souls here just waiting for their moment to shine."
a month ago"Recently completed my application and adopted a dog. The whole team there was unbelievable. Really friendly people and you can see they want the best for the dogs. Massive shout out to the volunteers as well who make the team up there as well, unsung heroes! Even when we adopted they sent us away with a bag of goodies for the dog to help. Highly recommend this place. Thanks again and hope this helps anyone out there considering getting a dog from here!"
2 months ago"Max's Mates sorted me out with a lovely ex racing greyhound called Jax. The feeling to adopt a dog is £150, and includes 2 weeks of free dog food, a dog bed and toys as well as 5 weeks of free pet insurance. You need to make an appointment to visit and your own transport to get there. If you want a dog I would happily recommend getting one from Max's Mates."
2 months ago"We called at Maxi's Mates to drop off some throws to keep the dogs warm and cosy on these dark and cold nights. That's what my Ferdi would have wanted me to do. Ferdi passed away in December and I know that he would say "cosy and warm like I used to be""
