"We went here after a recommendation from a friend. I enquired about a cat through the online form on their website on Friday evening and had a call from Micheal on the Saturday morning, we had a conversation about what we were after and if they had any suitable cats that would be ok with a 2 year old. He invited us to come and meet some cats he thought would be a good fit. Micheal is a lovely and very knowledgeable man who loves and respects the cats he has.We looked at 2 lots of bonded pairs and a single cat, but as soon as I saw Kiki and Arty (bonded brothers) and how good on first met they were with both myself and my daughter that was my decision made. The others shyed away and we didn't see them much (understandingly, with a excitable 2 year old!). We finished the meeting and Micheal advised to let him know my thoughts and we discussed the next steps.I spoke to my husband and had the drive home to make sure I was happy with my decision. We made contact with Micheal the same day by leaving a message and he called the next day costs were confirmed, money paid and we then arranged him dropping the boys to us.On drop off he arrived with the boys and lots of bits to start us off (carrier, cat litter box, scratch post, some toys and treats) we went through the paperwork, signed, he advised about the insurance, next vaccination, food and he left.Kiki and Arty have settled in perfectly and we already love them to bits. They have been so good with our 2 year old (which makes my heart happy 🥰)A really simple process and a wonderful shelter. "Thank you to everyone at the City Cat shelter for your amazing advise and support today, it was highly appreciated. After sadly my neighbour passed away 3weeks ago, her beloved cat became abandoned and chucked out by the deceased family. Your time and support given to me and for me to care of the cat until you can take her in after Christmas was incredible - for now this beautiful little white cat is safe in my outhouse area, fed and loved. "Micheal was amazing! He was so helpful with helping me and my partner find a pair of cats to home. You can really tell they truly care about the cats they have. From visiting the shelter to homing our cats took about 2 weeks, and they were helpful in answering any questions we had. They were thorough about the needs of each cat (any medications they had to take) and gave us some tips on how to help them settle in their new home. It’s only been a few days but Binx and Sox have settled in well 😊 100% recommend"

"They love their cats there. They are clean and well looked after they c the vet regularly. We got a rescue cat there although she is fine she is a lady and very shy has settled in well. It is always good to rehome an elderly cat"
