"I have adopted two beautiful girlies from Romania through Silver Fox Rescue and cannot recommend Silver Fox highly enough. The level of love and care they show to all of the dogs in their care is testimony to how much they truly care, as is their priority to find well-matched, suitable homes for each dog (they are very thorough in their checks and ensuring a good match, which is both absolutely necessary and reassuring). The wonderful volunteers who share their lives and hearts fostering dogs awaiting their forever homes restores my faith in humanity, as does Claire and Marjorie's drive and determination to make a difference to dog's lives who have not had the best start to life.My beautiful 3 legged little girl, Roxie (was called Bianca), was terrified of life when we rehomed her, having suffered unthinkable abuse, resulting in a broken back leg, requiring amputation in Romania shortly before coming to England into foster care. She was understandably very nervous and extremely scared - especially of men. She was placed in the most wonderful, loving foster placement who helped her to learn that life can indeed be good and we rehomed her very soon after. It was the best decision we ever made. Roxie immediately became the light of lives and she inspires us everyday. It has been 6 years since she joined our family and she has come on leaps and bounds. She is now very healthy, happy and strong. She is quirky and feisty, intelligent and very loving. Roo defo rules the roost out of my 3 doggies! Roo has grown so much in confidence and grown to be a healthy, happy doggie who loves life - she smiles her big toothy smile (the best way ever to be greeted when you get home - 3 waggy tails and a big smile from Roxie~Roo!!) and sings (only to Fleetwood Mac and Gerry Rafferty though, haha!). Our gorgeous little fox with 3 legs, little Roo! She never lets anything hold her back, she is amazing!! 🦊🧡 Martha Mooney join our family 4 years ago, after she was rescued by Silver Fox from a kill shelter in Romania. Martha is just the sweetest soul you could meet, so very gentle and very loyal - my little shadow. It's incredibly difficult to imagine how life was for her in Romania. She is such a trusting and gentle soul, it breaks my heart to think what she must of gone through and how things may have ended for her had Silver Fox not saved her life. Both my girlies are amazing with my young son and both adapted incredibly well to living in a home environment from living on the streets of Romania. Roo still loves to be outside in the garden as much as she can, making dens and is very switched on and streetwise, she will always be wild at heart! Martha on the other hand is away with the fairies!! And loves nothing more than a good belly scratch and snuggle, I don't know how she was ever a street dog, she is so soft! 💕🥰 Martha joined us in Warrington from her foster home in Ullapool, in Scotland, so had a very long journey to her forever home, made only possible through the kindness and generosity of Silver Fox volunteer drivers and foster carers who volunteered to help with each different leg of Martha's long journey. It was so worth it, she completes our family, our beautiful little badger with the kindest eyes and biggest heart! 🖤🤍 Both my girls fill our lives with joy and love and make us so proud everyday. Thank you so very much Silver Fox for rescuing them both from their horrendous situations and bringing them into our lives 💜These are just my two fur babies, there are so many more doggies being saved by Silver Fox everyday and awaiting their yappy ever after homes, waiting to love and be loved!... If you are considering adopting a dog I truly cannot recommend Silver Fox Rescue enough. We felt supported through the whole adoption process and beyond. It is a true community ran by wonderful, kind people who work tirelessly to make a difference to so many dog's lives 🐶💗 They truly do restore my faith in humankind with their determination to make a difference to dog's lives in this sometimes very sad and cruel world."

"I applied to adopt a dog via this group, after hearing nothing I contacted them via text to a mobile number on their website and Facebook and received no response. When I questioned this respectfully I received mixed feedback from both supporters of the website and those who had the same experience as I. The FB account then blocked me! Is this any way to treat people who want to adopt a dog and who are not being communicated with? This site may be good but blocking someone who has a bad experience and who presents constructive criticism is unacceptable. Zi perhaps should"
