About This Centre
We are a small independent Animal Rescue, operating in the Hampshire area. We rely wholly on donations from the public. We have been in operation for over 40 years and rehomed over 9000 animals in that time, from dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, tortoises, parrots and hedgehogs. Viewing is by appointment, please contact us via our website and online enquiry form, by email contact@secondchanceanimalrescue.co.uk or by phone on 02380559552 and the best time to call is between 10am and 1pm.

"I have had dogs and a cat from Second Chance for over 30 years, after a very negative experience with another charity early in my adult life. Rose and the team have always been very thorough and have given as much information and support as they could, to help me get to know the pets Ive adopted. My current dog had been through a lot in her first year and was the most challenging I've ever had. Six years on, she is still a work in progress but makes me laugh every day. Im still learning about her multiple talents and how to work with her. I'm so grateful to Rose for letting me take her on at a time when my previous elderly dog really needed a canine companion. "These guys do a great job giving animals what they deserve a second chance. We originally decided to Foster Mario (as he was known then) he was scared and fearful of everyone and everything thanks to being miss treated for years. After the months of hiding and time I spent just reading to him showing him we are not all evil he came out on Christmas day. Now he sits on the sofa with us and gets into bed with us. Now for my 30th birthday he is now officially my baby boy buddy 😍😍😍"
