"I had a change of heart with the kittens I handed in. Within an hour of dropping them off I had asked for them back. Karen replied saying I couldn’t because they were booked in at the vets. I offered to pay the vet treatment that she had booked for them and also the space she had kept for them at the farm. But was still told this wasn’t possible to get them back. I believe this is totally out of order considering I offered to pay the fees."

"I’ve worked in animal rescue for over 20 years and I had the pleasure of visiting Blackburn House for the first time, yesterday. The lady in charge was very supportive with an urgent cat situation. What a wonderful place this is. The people were so professional, accommodating and friendly. I would urge anyone who wants to adopt an animal to contact this shelter :)"
