"I was expecting about 5 or 6 donkeys but there were a lot more maybe 50? It was a dull drizzly Sunday but we had a lovely couple of hours here. The donkeys are all very well cared for & the staff were friendly & chatty & explained lots of different things about different donkeys. We ate at the cafe afterwards- the aptly named Take a Bray’k- & had a lovely lunch. We all had a great time & will definitely be back."

"Great local visit in Cornwall. 112 rescued donkeys, living their best lives now after very hard starts for many. Super friendly and well cared for. Lovely tea room and shop too. Free to visit, donations welcomed. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome, our staffie fell in love with 2 of the donkeys!"

"My daughter had a donkey adopted to her for her Birthday (Bunny), so we wanted to come and visit her. My kids absolutely loved seeing all the donkeys. You can see they are well looked after and loved. Their stables and barns were in a great condition and had lots of space. We went into the Vegan cafe which was lovely and the staff really nice. We purchased donkey merch in the gift shop. My daughter loves her Bunny cup. Overall lovely visit and could donate when there. We will be back and I am sure my son will have a donkey to his name by Christmas haha (Bertie)"

"Flicka is inspiring. There’s no other way to say it. Calming, being among these woolly big eared stoic gentle creatures and great for your mental health and wellbeing.it’s easy to help by sponsoring your very own donkey for just Ā£10 a month. I went with a dog (on a lead) a reluctant man of nearly 80 and a few others. And who loved it the most and wants to go back next week? The man of nearly 80. He loved it and sponsored his very own Donkey! 🤩"
