"A truly dedicated, tiny team of people looking after a vast array of animals, not just the 20 horses. Their care for the animals is exemplary and they’re located amidst beautiful rolling countryside making it a great day out.They’re sadly struggling with hardly any volunteers and lack of funds and are in need of support urgently. Please help spread the word as no one seems to know about them despite this being their 20th year as a sanctuary.If you can volunteer either physically with the animals, doing admin, social media, website, fundraising, raising awareness, please do join in for as long or as little as you can spare and of course donations are desperately needed too.They have so many plans to engage the public with nature walks, animal therapy for mental health, coffee mornings, fun days, creating disabled access, car parking, hardcore areas for the horses to escape the mud, isolation/sickbays, new stables, a barn for the feed, the list goes on and on but they are exhausted and without support they may not even make it through the coming Winter, which would be an almighty, tragic loss to Penistone, Cawthorne and South Yorkshire."
