"Adopted my first ever dog from this charity as I wanted to give dog a new better start in life. The checks and viewing my house were brief. The woman stood in my kitchen for 5 minute's. She said they are always inundated with too many dogs. There was no history given apart from that the dog was found on a street. The dog was extremely loving and a special bond was made straight away. There were however issues when walking out on the lead. And a few occasions where the dog tried to nip at people. The dog was extremely reactive. Something I had never experienced before. I was told it was my fault due to having a strong bond. The behaviour was so bad that I was given abuse by other dog walkers. I decided to get the dogs DNA tested, 1/3rd putbull. I tried my best for over a year, as I felt I took this dog on and it was just part of the parcel when going out for walks. The love I had for her was huge. Again she was amazing inside the house with family and myself. Over a year later my relationship broke down and I had to move in with my parents who had cats. The situation was extremely stressful trying to contain the animals from each other. My parents couldn't cope and I had to make the awful decision of rehoming. The centre said they had no space and that I shouldn't of had a dog if my relationship was going to break down. I said I'd take the dog somewhere else, when they became aggressive saying that I couldn't due to the chip being in their name still. I patiently gave them a few more weeks until enough was enough. I took the dog back. Was made to feel awful about my decision to do so. They told me she will be staying in the outside kennels. It was really upsetting. The female owner was rude and defensive. The dog reacted extremely aggressively towards her. Who knows what happened before I adopted the poor thing. Just be weary when adopting a dog from these people. If you end up with a dog with issues you won't be supported. And if the adopting process does not work for the dog or yourself, then be prepared for the unsupportive backlash from the owners. Extremely unprofessional. I think they take too much on without any real care to the dogs they are wanting to adopt. It feels a rush to rehome them."

"Just arrived back from the charity day. We thought that it was brilliant. We met so many lovely people and their dogs. The whole thing was well organised and enjoyable. The food was truly amazing,if that lady opens a shop we're going to move next door. Thankyou so much for all your hard work and thankyou also for putting a permanent smile on my husbands face as his furry daughter won scruffiest mutt."
